What Our Customers Say

Manufacturers across the Midwest trust BrokerMFG for parts that meet spec, on time, every time.

BrokerMFG delivered our prototype mold faster than any shop we'd worked with before. The DFM feedback they provided saved us thousands in redesign costs. We moved all our production tooling to them.

MJ
Michael J.
Engineering Manager, Midwest OEM Manufacturer

We needed to replace a machined aluminum bracket with a plastic equivalent. BrokerMFG's engineers suggested glass-filled nylon, ran the mold flow analysis, and hit every tolerance. Weight dropped 45% and cost dropped 60%.

SR
Sarah R.
Product Development Lead, Industrial Equipment Co.

After being let down by two other molders on a critical aerospace housing, BrokerMFG stepped in, met the dimensional requirements on the first sample, and has been our go-to shop for 8 years running.

Frequently Asked Questions

What file formats do you accept for quotes?
We accept STEP, IGES, STL, SolidWorks (.sldprt), DXF, DWG, and PDF drawings. STEP or IGES files are preferred for the most accurate quoting. If you only have a 2D drawing or sketch, we can still quote — just contact us directly.
How quickly can I get a quote?
We respond to all quote requests within one business day. For urgent projects, call us at (414) 421-5900 and we'll prioritize your inquiry.
What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
We have no strict MOQ. We regularly run prototype batches of 25–100 pieces as well as production runs of millions of parts annually. Our short-run molding service is specifically designed for low-volume needs.
Do you offer design assistance if I don't have a CAD file?
Yes. Our design engineering team can work from a physical sample, a sketch, or a concept description to develop a production-ready CAD model. We also provide free DFM (Design for Manufacturability) reviews on submitted files to optimize your design before tooling.
What is the typical lead time for a new mold?
Aluminum prototype molds typically take 3–4 weeks. Production steel molds are generally 6–10 weeks depending on complexity, number of cavities, and current workload. We will provide a committed schedule at time of order.
Do you work with resins I supply, or only your own material?
We can work either way. We maintain a broad inventory of common resins and can source specialty materials. If you have a specific resin with a proprietary formulation or prefer to supply your own material, we accommodate that as well — just let us know when you request the quote.
Where are you located and do you ship nationally?
We are located at 5600 W Oakwood Park Dr, Franklin, WI 53132 — just south of Milwaukee. We ship to customers throughout the United States. Customers in the greater Milwaukee and Chicago areas often pick up in person as well.
